At Another Blessed Ministry (ABM), we believe that everyone deserves a second chance, a chance to rebuild, to belong, and to be blessed. Founded by Tony Barnes, a man whose life is a living testimony of resilience and faith, ABM was born out of a desire to help those facing life’s toughest challenges find hope, healing, and purpose again.
What began as a small act of compassion, feeding a few hungry neighbors, has grown into a full community outreach movement across Richmond, Virginia, serving the homeless, displaced families, and individuals struggling with life’s hardships.
To uplift the homeless, the hungry, and the hurting through compassion-driven programs that provide food, clothing, mentorship, and access to life-changing resources, restoring dignity and inspiring transformation in every life we touch.

Each week, Another Blessed Ministry distributes nutritious meals, clothing, and essential furniture items to families, the homeless, and those in need across Richmond. Through this program, we provide practical help and restore dignity while connecting individuals to long-term community support.

Our mentorship program connects at-risk youth and struggling adults with trained mentors who offer guidance, encouragement, and life skills for personal growth. Peer groups create a safe space for participants to share experiences, build resilience, and move forward together.

We help individuals and families navigate difficult seasons by connecting them with trusted mental health, housing, education, and employment resources. Through personalized consultations, we ensure every person gets the support they need to rebuild and thrive.

From food drives and holiday giveaways to community walks and celebrations, our events bring Richmond residents together in unity and hope. Each event offers opportunities for connection, volunteerism, and visible community impact.

This monthly mentorship program helps children ages 6–16 develop leadership, respect, ethics, and life skills through fun, interactive learning with positive role models. Parents trust Little Rascals to nurture confidence and good character in their kids.

Blessed Beyond the Struggle is a podcast created to lift up those going through tough times. Each episode brings real stories, faith-filled encouragement, and practical steps to help you rebuild your life — one day, one decision, one act of hope at a time.
Every week, hundreds of people receive meals, clothing, and support through our outreach efforts. Every month, lives are changed through mentorship, education, and community connection. And every year, our partners, individuals, local businesses, and volunteers, come together to create visible, lasting impact across Richmond and neighboring communities.

Whether you’re a volunteer, donor, mentor, or community partner, you have the power to make a difference. Together, we can feed the hungry, clothe the needy, mentor the next generation, and help rebuild lives from the ground up.
💛 Be a blessing. Be part of the change.
